The foundations of our success started with my parents Francesca and Rocco Pollifrone, Italian immigrants with the dream to build a better life whilst sharing their beautiful Italian heritage in Australia. In 1961 my parents initiated their agricultural enterprise within the Adelaide Plains cultivating olives and vegetables. By 1985, the Pollifrone family embarked on a path of diversification, alongside their son Antonio who mirrored the same love and passion to produce the finest quality products. With the same drive to extend the family business my parents and I ventured out to incorporate viticulture alongside the existing olives trees. It was by 1995 our family business witnessed expansion as we introduced an assortment of grape varietals, including Shiraz, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sangiovese, selling to major wineries, creating our reputable footprint. In 2006, our passion for wine grew immensely and we began to produce & bottle our own shiraz & pink rose' out of our single block vineyards. Which were then sold to major restaurants & wine bars around Australia. Fast forward to today, we have a selective range of quality wine & extra virgin olive oil grown in the Adelaide Plains. This includes two special wines produced out of our single block vineyards. Tudor King - Petit Verdot & Northgate Estate Sangiovese. These hold a significant meaning to our family & to my late mum, Francesca upholding her legacy.
